Use

The infrared sensor is ideal for building a security system as it can detect objects up to a distance of 180 cm. It can be mounted in various places: doors, windows or gates. The sensor is also recommended in robot construction, for example, to detect collisions.

The detection distance can be easily changed in the 2 - 180 cm range with the potentiometer.
