• Working voltage: Within 6-36VDC

• Output method: DC three-line NPN is normally open, NPN NO

• Output current: 300 mA (mA)

• Shell material: plastic

• Functional use: The proximity switch (also known as the non-contact travel switch) acts when it is

• close to the metal and is widely used for the control of machine tools and other equipment.

Working Principle

The proximity switch consists of three major components: an oscillator, a switching circuit, and an amplifying output circuit. The oscillator produces an alternating magnetic field. When the metal target approaches this magnetic field and reaches the sensing distance, eddy currents are generated in the metal target, causing the oscillation to decay and even stop. The oscillation and oscillation of the oscillator are processed by the post-amplifier circuit and converted into a switching signal to trigger the drive control device to achieve the non-contact detection purpose. The closer the target is to the sensor, the closer the target is to the sensor, the greater the damping inside the coil; the larger the damping, the smaller the current of the sensor oscillator. The current loss of the inductive proximity switch decreases with the distance from the metal target And decrease.

The difference between normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC):

• First, normally open (NO) is the signal output line is off state under normal state, no signal output, closed when the object is sensed, output signal.

• Second, the normally closed (NC) is that the signal output line is in a closed state under normal conditions, and the continuous signal output is turned off when the object is sensed, and the signal is turned off.
