New product
This module is based on the VL53L0X sensor, which can measure distances up to 2 m. Because the sensor has very small dimensions, it can easily be used with the mode, making it easy to make connections (compatible with breadboards).

Measure distances up to 2 m with this revolutionary sensor. It works on the principle of measuring the speed of light, it emits a beam of light and measures the time it is reflected back to the sensor. It can be easily integrated into many projects thanks to the I2C interface. Thanks to IR filters, the sensor also works in environments with putermic ambient light.
You can use this sensor to detect obstacles, recognize 1D gestures and much more.
The module helps you easily make connections - the package also includes a pinheader.
The Datasheet is available in the Downloads section below.
1. Make the necessary hardware connections.
The communication protocol is I2C, so the data lines count at the SDA and SCL pins (A4 and A5 pins if you use an Arduino Uno-compatible development board). Also, the module does not tolerate 5 V so you need to use a logical-level translator.
Follow the attached chart below for more details:
2. Download the VL53L0X library and install it in the Arduino IDE development environment.
At the next address you will find the library to help you use this module more easily.
