PrimaSelect HIPS - 1.75mm - 750 g - Black

PrimaSELECTHIPS (High Impact Polystyrene) is a filament usually associated with ABS in the role of the support material as it dissolves in D'limonene. HIPS is a very good filament on its own and you can make stunning prints with a beautiful matt surface finish.

PrimaSELECTHIPS has much more to offer as truly high-quality print material and not just as a support material. High Impact Polystyrene, as the name suggests, is a sturdy and reliable filament that is widely used among hobby enthusiasts to create models of different sizes. It has limited warping, almost no shrinkage and is very easy to glue together with other parts. You can use ordinary super glue and it´s also perfect if you want to sand and paint your model.

PrimaSELECTHIPS has a very beautiful matt surface when your print is done and combined with the range of colors you are guaranteed to get stunning results.

PrimaSELECTHIPS is very light and durable thermoplastic and is also very resistant to various acids. HIPS is one of the most used plastics in the world and you can see it in CD and DVD cases and also in different food packing containers.

When printing with PrimaSELECTHIPS we recommend that you use a heated bed. Set your heat bed to 90-110˚C for best results.

PrimaSELECTHIPS sticks on BuildTak or glass plate coated with adhesive spray or glue stick.

PrimaSELECTHIPS is reeled on a transparent spool with 750 g of high-quality filament. It´s packed in a sturdy box and packed with silica gel to avoid moister.

PrimaSELECTHIPS are available in diameter sizes of 1.75 mm and 2.85 mm.
