Description and specifications

AD7705 is a digital analog converter for low frequency measurements. The conversion method is sigma-delta, the resolution is 16 bits. The dissipated power is reduced, being built with CMOS technology. Gain, polarity and read rate can be programmed via the SPI interface.

  • Power supply with voltages from 3.3V to 5V, DC
  • Interface: SPI
  • Maximum communication frequency: 2.5MHz
  • Sampling frequency = gain * Fclkin / 64 (for gain from 1 to 4)
  • Sampling frequency = Fclkin / 8 (for gain from 8 to 128)
  • External voltage reference LM285 (2.5V)
  • Programmable gain (1-128)
  • Buffer entries
  • Maximum dissipated power: 1mW at 3V

This module can connect directly to the analog sensors in your projects and you can thus easily read the data.
