Bat-Safe Box for Safe Li-Po Storage and Charging (used before)

The dangers that LiPo batteries can pose are known worldwide. They can sometimes catch fire, resulting in heat is so extreme that fighting the fire is very difficult.

The BAT-SAFE XL is currently one of the only protection for LiPo batteries available on the market THAT REALLY WORKS. The innovative case was developed by Tom Mast, a renowned aviation engineer and enthusiastic model pilot. The thought came to him when his house was almost engulfed in flames by a LiPo fire.

The BAT-SAFE is designed in such a way that the batteries can be charged and of course stored in it. The charging cables are routed outside through a flameproof opening. Should a battery catch fire, the resulting pressure inside can escape. This is done through the upper ventilation holes, at the same time the smoke is also filtered. Inside the box, up to 800°C can occur in the event of a fire. Due to the special insulation of the box, the outside of the floor and side wall heats up to a maximum of 80°. The escaping gas does not get hotter than 150°C.
