The A4988 stepper motor driver is ideal for medium-sized stepper motors.
This motor driver can help build your 3D printer or CNC and a potentiometer module provides current limit.
Use with Arduino
The installation image is presented for controlling stepper motor driver using A4988. It can control large engines, supporting a supply voltage between 8 V and 35 V. For a good coupling, an electrolytic capacitor is recommended for decoupling (Caution! This is polarized. The negative terminal of the capacitor must be connected to GND, and the positive supply voltage).
To use 5 V logic driver from Arduino board (it can work with 3.3 V), pins direction and step control the direction and steps that make engine. Additionally, it can use pins MS3, MS1 and MS2 to perform micro-steps: the driver is able to command the motor to run up to 1/16 steps. A4988 driver contains a potentiometer with which you can adjust the maximum output current (protective). Enable GND pin to activate the driver. Optionally, you can tie this pin to an Arduino digital pin to enable / disable the driver.
