Instructions for use

When you insert the 9 V battery into the detector, it will give a long beep. This device has an automatic power off feature after a certain time. When switching off the device, to turn it on, hold down the power button on the side of the product until the screen is activated.

Then select the type of material you are looking for using the SELECT button, and then briefly press the button on the side to begin detection. When the detector is in the presence of the searched material it will give an audible signal. Wait for the line in the center of the screen to be lit, and mark that spot. That point is the beginning of the material sought. Move the detector until the line in the center of the screen disappears and also mark this secondary location. This point will be the end of the searched material.

At the end of the detection, briefly press the SELECT button and wait for the device to turn off.

Under ideal conditions the density of the walls is uniform, but in real conditions there are variations of it, so the device detects these as well. To reduce these errors, measure several times, moving the device in different directions.
