Overview

This module can be used in controlling the current flow in a LED driver. It limits the voltage and current source and since it's small in size, it can easily fit your projects. This module uses an LM2596 chip which has high accuracy and very good quality.

This LED driver has constant current (up to 3 A) which is very useful in controlling groups of LEDs for your projects without requiring resistors or current-limiting devices.

Features

★ The module uses domestic high-quality LM2596 chip, the efficiency is high (up to 92%), and the heat is small at the same time. It can easily reach the current above 3 A. At the same time, it can control the output current with the original TI op-amp, making the overall output very stable.

★ This module uses the low- ESR original Sanyo filter capacitor, which can make the ripple voltage as low as 50 m!

★ This module uses machine patch, reflow soldering, and each module undergoes two hours of an aging test before shipment to ensure high reliability.

This module is an adjustable step-down module that can be used to change the output voltage by adjusting the blue adjustable resistor on the module. The input and output voltage difference is 2 V, and the minimum output voltage is 1.23 V.

IN- (input negative), IN+ (input positive), OUT- (output negative), and OUT+ (output positive) must be connected correctly. Otherwise, the module may be damaged.

★ Battery charging method

1. Determine the floating voltage and charging current of the rechargeable battery, the input voltage of the module;

2. Adjust the constant voltage positioner and adjust the output voltage to about 5 V.

3. Use the multimeter 10 A current block to measure the output short-circuit current, and adjust the constant current potentiometer to make the output current reach the predetermined charging current value;

4. The charging turn lamp current defaults to 0.1 times the charging current (constant current value), if needed Adjust the adjustment lamp current potentiometer; (normally do not need to adjust)

5. Adjust the constant voltage position device to make the output voltage reach the float voltage;

6. Connect the battery and try to charge.

(1, 2, 3, 4, 5 steps are the module input power supply, the output is not connected to the battery.)

★ LED constant current drive use method

1. Determine the operating current and maximum working voltage of the LED you need to drive;

2. Adjust the constant voltage positioner and adjust the output voltage to about 5 V.

3. Use the multimeter 10 A current block to measure the output short-circuit current, and adjust the constant current potentiometer to make the output current reach the predetermined LED working current;

4. Adjust the constant voltage position device to make the output voltage reach the maximum working voltage of the LED;

5. Connect the LED, Test machine.

(1, 2, 3, 4 steps are connected to the power supply of the module, and the output is not connected to the LED light.)
