Overview
The 5 mm infrared receiver is a high speed and high sensitivity NPN silicon phototransistor that can be used in infrared sensing applications and devices such as remote controls, optoelectronic switches, and others. Its black epoxy makes the device sensitive for infrared radiation, while blocking the interference from visible light.
